Dojo Boys: The First Misunderstanding (Prequel)
Meet Sensei Ichiro Kimura and Detective Masato Takahashi, of Dojo Boys: Dragon and Crow, as boys in this shonen-ai story that reveals how the two met, their initial attraction and subsequent misunderstanding, as they attempt to get to know one another.
Masato "Sato" Takahashi is the captain of his high school martial arts club and is poised to lead his team to victory of the regional tournaments in his senior year. At the start of the school year rumors circulate that a new kid will be attending his school. This doesn't concern Sato until he hears that the new boy is a Kimura and may be a direct family member of The Kimura School, one of Japan's most prestigious dojos. If the rumors are true Sato is facing a duel edged sword: The coach could replace Sato as captain should the new kids skills prove better. But those same skills could also make a regional championship win a sure thing. Torn, Sato decides to investigate the rumor and is floored by what he finds. Ichiro "Jiro" Kimura's family is scheduled to leave for America to open a new branch of The Kimura School. His father opts to have Ichiro and his younger brother Toshi stay, train and attend school at a small mountainside village for their final two years in Japan, while he readies the new dojo in America. Accustomed to the prestigious schools of Tokyo, Ichiro has no idea what to expect, but hopes to keep his identity a secret so that he can focus on his studies and martial training. When he is asked to join his new school's martial arts club, he tries to do the honorable thing, but his answer births a host of problems the least of which is Sato Takahashi. |
